Apology

Today’s Discover Challenge from Daily Post features a interesting topic about Apology.

Was having a tough time thinking what I could blog about. Then looking back , it felt more like a reflective post. And the power of what a single word can mean and affect how we perceive life.

As fragile as life is, sometimes the simplest thing to do is to learn to Apologise, learn the mistake and move on. No doubt that Apology in a civilised society is very hard to come by when we use a lot of ego to get things done. But if we could put our ego aside, learn to apologise if issues that arises is from ourselves. Then, in effect many issues are easily resolved – and whether or not an apology is required it becomes a smaller matter as we focus more on harmony than otherwise.

Sometimes, it just take a minute of silence to reflect before coming to a conclusion and answer. It is easy to say, but challenging to execute. But at the end of the day, what matters the most is how one exercises the caution with handling situations delicately to minimise impact and understanding how to handle situations in the best possible way.
