Review : Hotel Michael, SG (Deluxe Twin)

Hotel Michael is one of the 5 Hotels owned by Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island. This hotel is a tribute to one of America’s greatest contemporary architects – the late Michael Graves (1934-2015).

Hotel Michael - RWSEach of the room is designed such that it is itself a art piece on its own. Every Deluxe room in the hotel has the same configuration – except for suites.  The room which I did my recent stay was a Deluxe Twin room – 37 sq m. The pillows and bed are very comfortable to sleep on – making a very good night of rest.

Hotel Michael - RWS

Every inch of space is compact and storage space well concealed making the rooms feel very cosy and nice. The TV console area, also has been purpose built with a dressing table and spacious desk for both luggage and for sitting desk space.

The room is spaciously designed so are the attached bathroom. The standing shower area has a turn knob which you can select for either rain shower or the normal standing shower mode. While the wall panel next to the toilet area has a nice mosaic motif of some flower view.

The hotel has a gym equipped with basic weights, machines and treadmill which operates 24/7, and a outdoor swimming pool – which is open 7am till 8pm.

It is conveniently located along the Festive Walk – a stone throw away from the Sentosa Express – Waterfront station and walking distance to the Sentosa Merlion. At the same time it is situated next to Universal Studios Singapore and the gallery of shops selling luxury goods.

There are also nightly shows at the Lake of Dreams at 9:30pm every night (in front of the steps at Festive Walk).
