Was having a lazy Sunday afternoon and decided to drop into Marché Mövenpick Suntec City for lunch. Marché is a Swiss food chain by Mövenpick that serves up food on demand. Where the fresh market kitchen serves up food as you order them and you make your payment upon check out.
This restaurant has been my Favourite for the ambience and the less crowded atmosphere as compared to the other two – VivoCity and Somerset.
For lunch, I decided to skip my usual crepes and rosti. I opted to try the Applewood Grill, and ordered a combination chicken breast with pork loin steak ($9.90 & $13.90; before tax).
On first look, the food presentation was good. Both types of meat were well cooked, and for the price point, it was priced in the middle range if you compare to food by Astons’ Speciality. It comes serves with some fresh garden salad.
I paired the food with coffee since I had a craving for some Black coffee. So I ordered Mövenpick Coffee – to my amusement, the coffee is freshly grounded and prepared via the coffee machine. Now that’s something interesting for the price of $3.90 (before tax) per cup.
