In A Cup – Nespresso Vanilio

While busy at the desk on the last working day of the week, had this sudden crave for something sweet. Decided to try the Vanilio Nespresso capsule which I purchased during the Christmas season.

Part of the Variations range of coffee grounds infused with interesting flavours. On brewing the coffee, the sweet base of Livanto Grand Cru – a blend of a blend of Arabica beans from South and Central Americas; infused with the rich and velvety aromas of vanilla flows out and around the room. Just like the Caramelito blend, the Vanilio has a sweet taste to the smell that lingers upon brewing the coffee. While drinking this intensity 6 coffee, the coffee tasted slightly bland though silky smooth texture to the palate. I have a palate for stronger coffee. Overall, it will feel good if this is paired with some food as compared to taking it on its own for an afternoon coffee break.

It is not one of my favourites as I have a palate for stronger coffee. However, it serves as a good afternoon coffee if paired with some food as compared to taking it on its own.

Nespresso intensity: 6 (Lowest intensity is 3, while the highest intensity is 12)
