Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena – Deluxe Guest Room, City View

Did a stay over the New Year weekend at Courtyard by Marriott – Novena. This is the latest addition to the Marriott group of hotels in Singapore. Located in close proximity to Tan Tock Seng Hospital as well as nearby hospitals and medical suites within the vicinity, it serves a vast group of travellers.

Deluxe Guest Room (King Bed, City View)

The room feels spacious, while everything is neatly tucked away. There is also many USB ports and power plugs build into the room fixtures. The city view room overlooks towards the Marina Bay area – which offers a reasonable look view of fireworks – provided it is weather permitting.

Facilities

The location is considered prime for the many shops and offices nearby as well as the convenience of medical assistance by the doorstep. The room is purposefully designed to maximise space use at the same time they come with basic amenities. Every room is of the same size throughout the whole property, there is no executive lounge, however, there is a rooftop bar, gym, infinity pool and restaurant.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at Sky 22, located next to the hotel lobby – which is also on the 22 floor.

Overall Experience

It is a nice and reasonably priced room rate for a stay with breakfast. However, considering it is a new hotel, facilities are rather new. Will return for another stay in the near future if the town area hotels get too expensive for last minute getaway.
