The annual Tulip floral display is back. This season features a different type of floral layout. In comparison to previous years, this year the layout seems a bit paler in comparison. Though, when I visited the floral show, most of the tulips are in full bloom, which was a very interesting sight.
The main theme of this year’s show is the head planters which has eye movements. When you look closely, some of them will have the eyelids opening and closing.
Meanwhile, another will be the half size buildings with rooftop gardens style planters where the rows of tulips are planted on can be seen blooming.
It is still worth a visit as you only get to see them at the Flower Dome once a year unless you decide to fly to the Netherlands to see more of the tulips bloom – perhaps it is also the same season that it blooms. To read about previous Tulipmania events.
