BEGONIA BRILLIANCE @ Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

Showing now at the Gardens by the Bay is the Begonia Brilliance floral show. Something unique about this plant species is the big leaves and the vague remembrance of the Mandai Colarbium which is located near the Mandai Parks – they have the ash storage spaces for the deceased and each building is named after one floral species.

While, this floral show is a pretty unique one since there wasn’t any Begonia show I have seen before except once at the Cloud Forest – near the queue line towards the lift access for the Upper floors of the Cloud Forest. The small section of Begonia floral display at Cloud Forest has also been relocated to Secret Garden zone of the Cloud Forest. It is definitely a good welcome to have Begonia being featured at the Flower Dome.

Actual Floral Display

As you step into the dome, it feels like you step into some wonderland which is so colourful. As the theme evolves around the mystery of the sea, there are many planter props that go along the sea creatures theme.

As you walk along the main display, you will notice a dome with the hanging air plants which is of a pretty sight. Also, do keep a lookout for the blooming Red Roses as they curl around the vines that are located near the main floral display.

So happen to witness some bits of the set up that revolves around the mysteries of the sea.
